SM Prime Holdings Inc.'s leisure property subsidiary Highlands Prime Inc. has completed Horizon Terraces, the final phase of the Horizon residential development at Tagaytay Highlands, as demand for mountain residences remains steady.
“All buildings at Horizon Terraces are now complete and ready for move-in,” SM Leisure Resort Residences Vice President and Head of Operations Patrick Joseph Villano said.
The 3.2-hectare residential enclave is nearly 90-percent sold, according to Highlands Prime, and is positioned as a pr imary residence, retirement home or second home.
Located about 240 meters above sea level, Horizon Terraces overlooks the 18-hole Tagaytay Midlands Golf Course, Taal Lake and Mt. Makiling.
More than 70 percent of the development is dedicated to landscaped gardens and open spaces, including a one-hectare central garden with swimming pools, a children's playground, pocket gardens and areas for recreation and fitness.
The project follows the completion of The Horizon, its first phase, which the company said helped establish demand for residences within the development.
Horizon Terraces offers Garden Villas, consisting of three-story townhomes ranging from 139 to 172 square meters, as well as Garden Suites with one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 35 to 103 square meters.
“The range of unit configurations is meant to give buyers the flexibility to choose what works for them, whether for weekend stays, longer family visits or more permanent mountain living in the future,” Villano said.
The completion comes as SM Prime continues to expand its property portfolio across residential, commercial and leisure developments.
SM Prime shares slipped P1.38 or 7.05 percent, to close at P18.20 each on Thursday.
