KOTA KINABALU: SMJ Energy Sdn Bhd has contributed RM1 million to support flood victims in Sabah, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said on Wednesday.
He commended the State-owned company for stepping forward in response to the government’s call for government-linked corporations to assist communities affected by the floods.
Hajiji said the donation will be channelled through the State Disaster Management Committee to complement ongoing aid efforts by both the State and Federal governments.
