KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Mineral Management Sdn Bhd (SMM) recorded its highest-ever revenue in 2025 under its new management, marking a major turnaround since the company’s establishment in 2021.

The company is also projecting its strongest net profit to date, reversing accumulated losses and achieving a positive retained earnings position for the first time.

SMM made its first direct contribution to the Sabah State Government, amounting to RM1 million, signalling a new phase in its role supporting the State’s development.

The improvement follows a year-long operational overhaul led by chief executive officer Madam Natasha Sim, which strengthened financial discipline and overall performance.

SMM said it aims to build on this progress and deliver higher contributions and dividends to the State in the coming years.
