
POPULAR digital content creator and visual effects (VFX) artist Sofyank has made personal history after having the opportunity to meet and collaborate with renowned Hollywood action star Tom Cruise.
In a series of posts on his Instagram account, Sofyank revealed that he had flown to Tokyo, Japan to attend the premiere of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning alongside Tom Cruise.
In addition, the 29-year-old, whose real name is Muhammad Sofian Abdullah, was given a golden opportunity by United International Pictures Malaysia (UIP) and Paramount Pictures to film a VFX video.
“Hi Tom Cruise! I’ve been watching your films since I was a child and your work has inspired many filmmakers around the world.
“We Malaysians truly admire your craftsmanship, your incredible stunts and the effort you put into every film.

“Standing beside you at that moment was truly a once-in-a-lifetime dream come true. I never imagined I would be given such a chance,” he wrote.
In the same post, Sofyank also expressed his appreciation to the Hollywood star for his kindness and the way he values fans across the globe.
“Thank you for being a legend and for being so kind to your fans around the world.
“It was truly an honour to meet you. I will cherish this as a golden memory for the rest of my life. Thank you, Tom!” he shared.
The post received widespread praise, including from local celebrities who expressed pride in Sofyank’s remarkable achievement.

Earlier, Sofyank had shared on social media his plans to shoot a VFX segment with the Hollywood actor.
Known for his expertise in visual editing and illusion-based videos, Sofyank frequently produces creative, Hollywood-inspired content.
Previously, he has collaborated with a number of Hollywood celebrities including Will Smith, Ryan Reynolds, Paul Rudd, Jonathan Majors, Anthony Ramos, John Cena and popular VFX artist Zach King.
