MANILA, Philippines - Some areas in Metro Manila, Batangas, Bulacan and Cavite will experience scheduled power interruptions this week due to maintenance works, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said on Sunday.
In Metro Manila, some portions of Villaruel St. from Leveriza St. to A. Luna St. including Appleton Carlmig Suites in Pasay City will have power interruptions on Sept. 22 between 12:01 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. due to the relocation of some electricity facilities along Villaruel St.
Some parts of NAIA Road from Domestic Road to Baltao Road, including Nayong Pilipino Cultural Park, 2GO Express Hangar and INAEC Aviation Corp. in Pasay City will have no electricity on Sept. 24 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of line maintenance works along NAIA Road.
Some sections of Pasay City and nearby areas in Paco and Malate in the City of Manila will have no power on Sept. 27 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. due to the replacement of some hazardous electricity poles and line equipment along F. B. Harrison St. in Malate, Manila.
Several areas near Taft Ave. in Malate will also have no electricity on Sept. 26-27 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. because of the retirement of an electricity pole along Taft Ave. in Malate.
In Marikina City, several places in the villages of Concepcion Uno, Marikina Heights, Nangka, and Parang will have no power on Sept. 23-24 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. because of the installation of electricity facilities and line reconductoring works along Bagong Silang St. in Brgy. Parang.
In Parañaque City, several locations in the villages of Don Bosco and Sun Valley will have no electricity on Sept. 23 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. due to the replacement and reconstruction of electricity facilities in Better Living Subd., Don Bosco Village and Science Village in Brgy. Don Bosco.
Some sections of Brgy. San Agustin and Brgy. Ibaba in Malabon City; and some places in Brgy. San Jose and Brgy. Sipac-Almacen in Navotas City will have short power interruptions on Sept. 23 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and also between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. due to the replacement of electricity facilities along Lopez Jaena St. in Brgy. Ibaba, Malabon City and also at Badeo 2 St. in Brgy. San Jose, Navotas City.
In Batangas, some areas in First Philippine Industrial Park, Brgy. Sta. Anastacia, Santo Tomas City, will also have short power interruptions on Sept. 27 between 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. and also between 5:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. due to the installation of primary electricity facilities in First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP).
In Bulacan, some locations in the villages of Iba Este, Iba Oeste, and Palimbang in Calumpit will have no electricity on Sept. 23 between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. due to line conversion works and the retirement of electricity facilities along MacArthur Highway and Iba Road in Brgy. Palimbang and in Brgy. Iba Oeste.
In Cavite, some sections of Brgy. Molino III in Bacoor City will have no power on Sept. 24 between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. because of the reconstruction of some electricity facilities in Ponticelli Subd. Within Brgy. Molino III.
