MANILA, Philippines — Some places in Metro Manila, Rizal and Cavite will have water interruptions this week because of maintenance works and high demand, Manila Water Company Inc. and Maynilad Water Services Inc. said on Sunday.
Manila Water said some sections of Brgy. Rizal in Taguig City will have no water on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of line meter and strainer declogging activities. Some parts of Brgy. North Signal will have service interruptions on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the replacement of a line meter at 8th St. cor. Chico.
Some portions of Brgy. Lower Bicutan will have service interruptions on September 9-10 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line meter and strainer declogging works at Banai cor. Manuel L. Quezon while some locations in Brgy. South Signal will have water interruptions on September 9-10 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to step testing activities near Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church to detect leaks.
In Marikina City, some areas in Brgy. San Roque and Brgy. Sta. Elena will have water service interruptions on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of zero pressure testing activities at Shoe Ave. cor. H. Roxas to test system integrity and to detect possible leaks.
In Quezon City, some areas in the villages of UP Village Teachers Village East,Teachers Village West, Sikatuna Village, and Central will have no water on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to zero pressure testing works.
Some parts of Brgy. San Martin de Porres will have water interruptions on September 9-10 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of leak repair works, while some places in Brgy. Old Balara and in Brgy. Batasan Hills will have no water on September 10-11 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of cut and plug activities at Don Antonio Royale Estates.
In Makati City, some portions of Dasmariñas Village will have service interruptions from September 9-10 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line meter replacement work and declogging activities.
In Rizal, some areas in Brgy. San Isidro, Cainta will have service interruptions on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of zero pressure testing work.
Some portions of Brgy. Dela Paz in Antipolo City will have no water on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to interconnection activities along Gawad Kalinga Citadel, in Brgy. Dela Paz.
Maynilad meanwhile said that some areas in the villages of Bagbag, Bagong Silangan, Lourdes, Maharlika, N.S. Amoranto, Paang Bundok, Payatas, Salvacion, San Bartolome and San Isidro Labrador in Quezon City will have water service interruptions on September 7-8 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of pressure testing activities.
Some locations in the villages of Baesa and Bahay Toro will have water interruptions on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of dry run activities at Mendez cor. Quirino to test control systems, sensors and safety mechanisms.
Some areas in the villages of Bagbag and San Bartolome will have service interruptions on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. due to leak detection, while some sections of Brgy. Apolonio Samson and Brgy. Balingasa will have no water on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. due to pressure testing works.
In Manila City, several places in the villages of 234, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, 251, 252, 253, 254255, 256, 257, 258, 259, 260, 261,c262, 263, 264, 265, 266 267, 287, 288, 289, 290, 291, 292, 293, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 311,312, 313, 314, 315, 316, 324, 325, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, 331, 332, 333, 334, and 335 will have water service interruptions on September 8-9 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. because of the replacement of a gear box in a water system at Muelle De La Industria corner Muelle De Binondo.
In Imus City, Cavite, several places in the villages of Alapan I-C, Anabu I-A, Anabu I-B, Anabu I-C, Anabu I-D, Anabu I-E, Anabu I-F, Anabu II-A, Anabu II- B, Anabu II-C, Anabu II-D, Anabu II-E, Bayan Luma I, Bayan Luma II, Bayan Luma III, Bayan Luma IV, Bayan Luma V, Bayan Luma VI, Bayan Luma VII, Bayan Luma VIII, Bayan Luma IX, Bukandala III, Bukandala IV, Bukandala V, Carsadang Bago I, Carsadang Bago II, Malagasang 1-A, Malagasang I-B, Malagasang I-C, Malagasang I-D, Malagasang I-E, Malagasang I-F, Malagasang I-G, Medicion I-B, Poblacion III-B, Poblacion IV-B, Poblacion IV-D, and Tanzang Luma VI will have water service interruptions from September 7-13 between 5 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. because of the network and facility limitations of the Patindig Araw pumping station.
