
MANILA, Philippines — Luzon, including Metro Manila, will have scattered rains and thunderstorms because of the southwest monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
Pagasa said occasional rains are expected in Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas and Occidental Mindoro. These areas will have 50 to 100 millimeters of rainfall today.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Western Visayas, the rest of Mimaropa, Rizal, Laguna and Antique will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
The rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
