Some online stores may soon let you pay without entering your card details at checkout. Razorpay Curlec has added DuitNow Pay to its payment gateway, letting Malaysian merchants offer a single checkout option that covers multiple banks and e-wallets. Curlec is among the first PayNet participants to roll out the feature to businesses.
One Checkout Option For Shoppers
If a merchant has this enabled, you’ll be able to search for your bank or e-wallet at checkout and authorise the payment directly through that institution’s own app or platform.
You’re then redirected back to the merchant’s website, without needing to enter any card details.
Over 40 Banks And Wallets
PayNet’s DuitNow Online Banking/Wallets service already covers more than 40 banks and e-wallets, including current, savings and credit card accounts. This means your usual bank or e-wallet is likely already supported once a merchant enables this option, without needing to sign up for anything new.
Saved Payments Coming Later
Saved payments and recurring payment support for subscriptions, instalments and scheduled bills are planned, but not yet available.
Razorpay Curlec said merchants using its integration will receive these capabilities automatically once PayNet introduces them, without needing to make any further changes on their end.
