SANDAKAN: Leaders of the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) at district level, especially the Information heads, not only act as cyber troopers but also need to monitor party members.
Gagasan Rakyat Vice President Datuk Masiung Banah said party members, especially those who hold positions in the party and the government, should be monitored because they will become a thorn in the flesh if they were found to be “too friendly” with the opposition.
Advertisement“We will not tolerate unruly party members, if it is proven that they are proxies of the opposition, then they will be removed immediately,” he said.
While officiating the Zone 9 and 10 Information Centers here, recently, Masiung urged every divisional and information heads to identify party members who are trying to play two political roles, namely in the government and the opposition.
