Write about what I’m learning and what I’m still trying to figure out.

I thought that sticking demonstrated loyalty for a long period. I considered it a show of strength to endure disappointment, cling to bad friendships, or justify myself all the time. But as I got older, I understood that not everything was worth our effort. Walking away silently is sometimes the strongest thing we can do.

Giving up is not usually the result of walking away. Sometimes it involves putting an end to ongoing hostilities in favor of peace. It entails realizing that not everyone is destined to be in our life indefinitely. People enter our lives for a variety of reasons; some become lasting friends, while others merely impart knowledge before leaving.

Realizing that you cannot make others value you is one of the most difficult things to do. If someone consistently takes your goodness for granted, you will never be able to make them appreciate it. If someone has already made up their mind not to listen, you cannot persuade them to understand your heart. Protecting your own tranquility eventually takes precedence than demonstrating your value.

I've come to the conclusion that not everyone should have access to peace since it is costly. We become pickier about our time, conversations, and relationships as we mature. It's not because we've grown conceited. It's because we've finally realized how important happiness and mental health are.

There will always be those who misinterpret your choice to leave. They might believe you've changed or grown aloof. However, they are seldom aware of the secret struggles you have been engaged in. They don't realize how many opportunities you've already given before determining that enough was enough.

Additionally, leaving makes room for better things. When we let go of things that no longer benefit us, we frequently start new friendships, healthier connections, exciting chances, and personal development. In the long term, staying somewhere that continuously drains you is frequently considerably more unpleasant than letting go, which can be painful at first.
