Southampton Academy players Dom Ballard and Kamari Doyle have a huge future in the game.

That is according to current first team boss Ruben Selles, who has been assessing the youth at the club recently.

Ballard played in the FA Cup as a substitute against Grimsby Town last week.

Per the Daily Echo, Selles said: "We have players that can make it, we just need to find the process and the space to give them the opportunity to be there.

"Dom wants to be a Premier League player for Southampton. And that's the kind of spirit that we need and that's the kind of player that we need.

"Those two players, they have the potential to play for us.

"One day you will show why you are good and can start being in the squad, being in the lineup, and hopefully then being in the national team."
