Southampton defender Tino Livramento underwent surgery after the Christmas period.
The 20-year-old has not played for the club all season, injuring his ACL at Brighton last April.
Now the club's coach Ruben Selles has confirmed Livramento had an operation shortly after he had resumed training with the club.
Per the Daily Echo, asked about Livramento, Selles responded: I cannot tell exactly when he will be back but he is much better.
He had a small surgery after Christmas because of that setback so I don't expect him to join us soon, I don't know exactly the time or if he will make it by the end of the season so unfortunately for Tino and the club he is not selectable."
