Southampton have completed the signing of midfielder Romeo Lavia from Manchester City.
The youngster is highly rated in England, while City have secured a buy-back option for the Belgium Under-18 star.
Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl believes the club fended off interest from several teams to secure their man.
He stated on the announcement of the signing: "We are very excited to sign Romeo ahead of many other interested clubs. It proves that we have a positive reputation for improving young players, which we have worked hard to build up over the years.
