Spanish postal service Correos releases a special stamp honouring the national team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup victory over Argentina.

SPANISH postal service Correos issued a special stamp on Tuesday to commemorate Spain’s triumph in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina, reported Xinhua.

The stamp features the badge of the national team on a red background, matching the color of its home jersey, with two stars representing the country’s two World Cup titles, won in 2010 and 2026.

“The commemorative stamp symbolises the pride of a country that is celebrating another world title and establishes a bridge between two historic generations: the one that conquered the world in 2010 and the one that has done so again in 2026,” Correos said in a statement.

Spain’s team returned to Madrid on Monday afternoon after beating Argentina 1-0 in Sunday’s final.

After visiting the royal family and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, the players and coaching staff took part in an open-top bus parade through the heart of Madrid that drew an estimated two million people, according to the Spanish government.
