Spain coach Luis Enrique has moved to block Nico Williams from playing for Ghana.
Enrique has named the Athletic Bilbao striker in his squad for the upcoming Nations League qualifiers.
Williams was expected to join brother Inaki in Ghana's squad, but appears all set to commit to the La Roja.
Nico will make his debut either against Switzerland in Zaragoza or against Portugal in Braga.
As the games are competitive, it will see Nico committed to Spain.
