Spain’s royal family were seen celebrating after their team beat France to reach the World Cup final.
Wearing matching jerseys, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia watched the final moments of the match from a sofa with their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, in a video shared on the Spanish royal family's official social media account.
The footage was accompanied by the caption (in Spanish): “You've once again proven why you're one of the world's great teams. Now, with an entire country by your side, the moment has come to fight for the title. Thank you for making us enjoy this journey. Go for it”.
The video showed the royals erupting in cheers and embracing each other as Spain secured their spot in the World Cup 2026 final after defeating France 2-0 in an impressive performance in Dallas.
