Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon is signing for Atletico Madrid today.
The Spain left-back is in Madrid for an Atletico medical and to sign his contract. Reguilon will join Atletico on a season-long loan.
Atletico will pay his salary, something which rival bidders Lazio refused to consider.
TMW says Lazio were offering Reguilon a €1m net salary compared to his current €2.9m deal.
Tottenham, to close with the Biancocelesti, had asked for a contribution of €1.7m, but Lazio president Claudio Lotito did not want to go further.
