Djed Spence will sign for Genoa today.
The Tottenham fullback arrived in the city yesterday and will undergo a medical this morning.
TMW says Spence will join on-loan to June with the option to buy. Genoa will be able to sign the defender outright for 10m.
He arrives independent of Radu Dragusin's transfer to Tottenham.
Spence spent the first-half of the season on-loan with Leeds, but that deal was cut short amid disciplinary concerns.
