Tottenham have reportedly decided not to trigger the option in Lucas Moura's contract to extend it by a year.
The winger signed a five-year contract in 2019, which would take him to 2024.
However, the final year had to be activated by December 31st of 2022, which was not done.
Per The Telegraph, Spurs are ready to lose Moura in the winter or even on a free transfer in the summer.
The forward is not in manager Antonio Conte's plans at present.
What is surprising is that Spurs are forgoing obtaining a fee for Moura in the summer by extending his deal.
