Former Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson has compared Ange Postecoglou with Steve Cooper.
The Tottenham attacker transferred clubs in the summer in chase of trophies and European football.
While Spurs are only in the Premier League and domestic cups this term, they are top of the table in Postecoglou's first season in charge.
"They don't think they're anything they're not," Johnson stated of the two managers, per Nottinghamshire Live.
"They're both really nice guys as well as really good managers.
"Ange speaks really well. He didn't want to overcomplicate it too much. He knew he'd watched me before and he just told me I'd fit well in his system.
The team suits the way I play so it was the perfect match."
