Scottish side St Johnstone are close to finalising a move for a Premier League talent.
The Daily Record states that the Premiership side are preparing a bid for Newcastle United youngster Jay Turner-Cooke.
The 19-year-old impressed during a loan spell at Tranmere Rovers last season, playing 12 games.
He is now set for a chance in the Scottish top flight, where he will be a first team regular.
St. Johnstone have not enjoyed the best start to the season and want to improve their squad.
They currently sit bottom of the Premiership, having lost to Hearts and Ross County so far this term.
