Kota Kinabalu: Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) has continued its push to cultivate young leaders with the introduction of Razzidin Robert, the son of former Bingkor Assemblyman, Datuk Robert Tawik, as part of the party’s new generation of rising figures.
The announcement, made by Star President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G. Kitingan, highlighted the party’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth and ensuring leadership renewal within Sabah’s political landscape.
Dr Jeffrey’s decision to bring in Razzidin reflects Star’s broader vision of combining experience with youthful dynamism.
He believes the formula is key to building a sustainable and forward-looking political movement.
It's women's wing (Wiranita) committee member, Karren Cassandra, said the move is not just symbolic but represents trust and confidence in the new generation.
“Star is proving that it’s not afraid of change. In fact, it’s leading that change. Young leaders like Razzidin bring energy, innovation, and a deeper understanding of their generation’s aspirations.
"Star’s inclusivity ensures a continuity of ideals grounded in service and integrity.
“The courage shown by Dr Jeffrey in empowering the youth is an inspiration.
“It reminds us that Star’s struggle has always been about building a better future for Sabah and its people,” she said.
Karren added that Star’s youth-oriented approach represents a generational renewal of spirit rather than a replacement of experience.
“The youth are the pulse of the nation and with them, Star’s mission for Sabah continues with new strength and vision,” she told Daily Express.
