GMA Network’s dance reality competition “Stars On The Floor” returns for a bigger second season on Sunday, Feb. 15, as it introduces five new Celebrity Dance Stars.

While their identities are kept as a surprise for the pilot episode, they are described by the network as a Kapuso leading man, a multi-awarded actress, a dance royalty heir, an Asian idol and a former original girl group member.

Joining the competition are performers from several P-Pop groups: Joker of 1st.One, Jao of Alamat, Sophia of Kaia, Denise of Calista and Jeromy of Hori7on.

Actor Alden Richards returns as host. The judging panel, referred to in the program as the “Dance Authority,” is led by Marian Rivera as head judge. She is joined by choreographer Jay Roncesvalles, known for his work with SB19, and Rayver Cruz, who joins the panel this season.

According to the network, the new season will feature weekly pair performances across various dance styles, with contestants competing in a series of challenges until one duo is declared the winner.

The pilot episode will open with a dance concert featuring 1st.One, Alamat, Kaia, Calista and Hori7on, as the groups send off their main dancers to the competition. The premiere will also include performances from Richards, the judging panel and the show’s choreographers.

In addition to its television broadcast, Sundays at 7:15 p.m., “Stars On The Floor Season 2” will be livestreamed on Kapuso Stream and the GMA ATM YouTube channel, with hosting duties by Lexi Gonzales, Thea Astley and Sean Lucas.
