GOMBAK - Caretaker Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari arrives at SMK Sungai Pusu to file for his nomination for the state poll.
Dressed in traditional red Malay attire, Amirudin was welcomed and accompanied by hundreds of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) supporters.
Also present to show support for Amirudin was Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He was accompanied by Selangor BN Chairman Datuk Megat Zulkarnain Omardin and hundreds of other supporters.
It was a bright and cheerful atmosphere as supporters of the various parties came to support their candidates at the nomination centre, here.
Anticipating a large turnout, the nomination centre saw the presence of police officers and authorities, ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.
The Election Commission (EC) has set Aug 12th as the polling day, and voters are eager to cast their ballots and make their voices heard.
