A steward was immediately replaced after attempting to disrupt the derby between AC Milan and Inter Milan.
Milan came out on top 3-2 on the evening.
Local reporter Tancredi Palermi reported a steward threw a ball onto the pitch whilst Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu was in on goal, interrupting play.
The act wasn't caught on TV, but he was instantly replaced by the stadium's management.
