- Comedian Josh Widdicombe, who is set to co-host Strictly Come Dancing, recently detailed a confrontation with a fellow passenger on a flight from Greece.
- Speaking on his Parenting Hell podcast, Widdicombe said the incident began when he placed his foot on an empty seat as his “shoe was undone”, which led to a disagreement with a woman who claimed it belonged to her husband.
- The husband later “whacked” Widdicombe “in the back” while getting napkins to wipe down his seat, before reportedly spending an hour cleaning it after Widdecombe apologised.
- Widdecombe added: “The air steward obviously has to go over and check he’s alright and then the air steward comes back and he’s like, ‘God, there’s one on every flight isn’t there?’”
- Widdicombe will join Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe as a new presenter for Strictly Come Dancing, taking over from Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
