Strictly Come Dancing’s Katya Jones and Wynne Evans have broken their silence after fans spotted an awkward exchange during Saturday night’s live show (12 October).
The professional dancer was seen on camera moving her partner’s hand away from her waist as Claudia Winkleman spoke to fellow contestant Pete Wicks.
Viewers also noticed the opera singer’s failed attempt at securing a high-five from his professional partner.
After the show aired, Wynne and Katya took to Instagram to address what happened.
Kataya said: “We just wanted to say we were just messing around in the auditorium on Saturday night and wanted to say sorry, it was a silly joke.”
