VfB Stuttgart have clinched promotion to the women's Bundesliga for the first time after a 4-1 victory against VfL Wolfsburg's second team on Sunday.
With the win, Stuttgart also secured the second division title.
Stuttgart established their women's football department in 2021 and this is their third consecutive promotion.
One of the highlights of the season was the home game against Mainz on March 21, which set a new spectator record of 31.736 people in the second division. Stuttgart, however, lost 4-2.
