Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo has passed his Liverpool medical.
The Japan international, 30, touched down on Merseyside in the morning after terms had been agreed between the two clubs.
Liverpool are expected to announce his signing today.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports: "New Liverpool midfielder Endo spotted after medical tests completed.
"He's now set to sign the contract then deal official after shock, exclusive news revealed yesterday."
