KUALA TERENGGANU - The Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, is in stable condition and resting after successfully undergoing treatment.
The Office of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Terengganu confirmed his condition in a statement issued by the Dato' Pengelola Bijaya Diraja (Comptroller of the Royal Household) on Saturday.
According to the statement, Sultan Mizan expressed his appreciation and gratitude to those who had prayed for his recovery.
“By the will and grace of Allah SWT, as well as the blessings of prayers from all the people, His Royal Highness the Sultan expresses his appreciation, gratitude and deep emotion alongside his family to all mosques, suraus, tahfiz institutions, Islamic scholars, community leaders, organisations, individuals and every layer of society who have prayed and performed the solat hajat (prayer of need) as well as the recitation of Yasin for Baginda,” the statement read.
The Palace also prayed for Sultan Mizan to be granted continued good health and for all his affairs to be eased.
