Sunday’s sport: What’s on and where can I watch it?

Spain are back in action at the World Cup as they bid to put their shock draw with Cape Verde behind them.

Elsewhere, the US Open golf wraps up at Shinnecock Hills, while England’s second Test against New Zealand at the Oval is set to conclude.

Here is a guide to what is happening in the sporting world on Sunday, and where you can watch in the UK.

Spain’s goalless draw with Cape Verde was one of the most surprising group results in World Cup history, and it will be something of a crisis if they do not beat Saudi Arabia at 5pm, with coverage on BBC One starting at 4.30pm.

Also in Group H, Cape Verde return to action against Uruguay in an 11pm kick-off (10.30pm BBC One), while, in Group G, Belgium face Iran (ITV 1900) and New Zealand meet Egypt in the early hours of Monday morning (ITV 1.30am).

The trophy will be decided at Shinnecock Hills in New York as the year’s third major, the US Open, concludes, with coverage on Sky Sports Golf from 4pm and Sky Sports Main Event from 6pm.

American Wyndham Clark had a healthy lead at the halfway stage but strong winds have made the fiendishly difficult course even trickier.

Matt Fitzpatrick and Rory McIlroy were among the European names looking to mount a challenge to Clark.

What else is happening?
