Customs Commissioner Varinder Kaur and GST Commissioner Sugreev Meena were the chief guests, and GST Assistant Commissioner Bikram Singh was the special guest, along with being the coordinator for the event.

The event turned into a vibrant celebration of fitness as athletes, coaches, staff members and officials pedalled together with enthusiasm and determination. Carrying the inspiring nationwide slogan — “Fitness ki dose, aadha ghanta roz”—participants highlighted the importance of regular physical activity in combating obesity and other lifestyle-related disorders.

The cyclists covered a 10-km route from the SAI Training Centre to the GST Office and back, with the rally attracting attention and appreciation from residents along the way.

Officials said the initiative was aimed at creating greater awareness about fitness and encouraging people, especially youth, to incorporate cycling and physical exercise into their daily routines. The event also showcased the growing culture of community-driven fitness campaigns in the city.
