
SANDAKAN: Elopura Assemblyman Calvin Chong Ket Kiun has urged residents here to continue supporting blood donation campaigns.
He also hoped that other groups and associations in Sandakan would continue to hold blood donation campaigns.
"This is to help the hospital increase the blood supply for patients in need,” he said at a blood donation campaign organised by Persatuan Hong Lian Sandakan in collaboration with the Duchess of Kent Hospital.
He said public support for such a campaign would assist in enhancing the blood donation network, which is organised by the Duchess of Kent Hospital’s Blood Bank Unit in collaboration with other parties.
