PETALING JAYA: The body of the man who attacked the Ulu Tiram police station in Johor Bahru last week was buried apart from the graves of other people to serve as a reminder to the public not to emulate his actions.
The body of the suspect was buried at 12.30pm today at a grave at the end of the Kampung Sungai Tiram Muslim cemetery, reported Berita Harian.
The burial was attended by a few villagers, along with police officers who monitored the situation.
Apart from ruling that the suspect’s body be buried apart from the graves of other people, the Johor fatwa committee ruled that burial arrangements for the suspect’s body could only be conducted at his family’s home or the hospital where his body was brought to.
