Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association (Swepa) marks International Women’s Day with a “Closing Gender Gap in Digital Economy Forum” on Monday at the Pacific Sutera here.
The United States Embassy in Kuala Lumpur sent two women digital economy expert speakers to participate in the forum - Rekha Pai Kamath and Nancy Wang, to join Sabah Director of Digital Government, Doria Tai.
The guest of honour Mayor Datuk Noorliza Awang Alip in delivering her speech, said: “If you want something done, leave it to a woman,” to loud cheers among the women attendees.
