Kota Kinabalu: A 52-year-old man who was charged with trafficking 87.11gm of syabu, will go on trial on Feb 20-21.

High Court Judicial Commissioner Maslinda @ Linda Mohd Ainal fixed the date for David Stephen Kautah during the mention of his case, Thursday.

David was accused of committing the offence at 5.40pm on Feb 8, 2021 at the car park of a villa in Kundasang.

He was charged under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act which carries the death sentence or imprisonment for life and whipping of not less than 15 strokes, if not sentenced to death, on conviction.
