BEAUFORT: Two local suspects were arrested here on Friday for allegedly possessing 10.8gm of syabu.
District Police Chief DSP Yusoff Zaki Mat Yaacob said they were nabbed at Bandar Mingo and at Taman Foh Sang.
In the first arrest, Yusoff said 16 small plastic tubes containing a substance believed to be Syabu, weighing about 5.31gm, was seized.
“The suspect, in his 30s and jobless, was arrested while he was inside a car. His urine test also showed positive for drugs,” he told Daily Express.
The second suspect, in his 20s, was arrested with a drug substance believed to be syabu in small plastic packages weighing about 5.58gm.
Yusoff said the drugs were found in his car and the suspect also tested positive for drug.
