
TAWAU: Police seized RM87,000 worth of syabu smuggled from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Tawau Airport on Saturday.
Tawau Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said two suspects, a 44-year-old man from Perak and a 21-year-old from Sarawak, were arrested.
"The 2.5kg of syabu was hidden in a biscuit tin, plastic noodle packaging, and food mix inside a suitcase," he said.

The case is being probed under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Efforts are ongoing to trace the drug distribution network involved.
