Sydney Sweeney has revealed her admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo during a visit to Sporting CP.
The Hollywood actress spoke about the Portuguese legend while spending time at the Lisbon club where his professional career began.
Ronaldo famously came through Sporting CP’s academy before moving to Manchester United in 2003.
Sweeney admitted she has long admired the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is my favourite footballer,” she said, according to beIN SPORTS and The Sun.
Ronaldo started his senior career at Sporting CP before going on to become one of the most successful players in football history.
His time at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus brought league titles, Champions League triumphs and multiple Ballon d’Or awards.
Even now, the Portugal international remains one of the most recognisable figures in global sport.

Sweeney also highlighted Ronaldo’s competitive mentality as a key reason she admires him.
“I’m a competitive person, and if I were a footballer, he would be my inspiration,” she added.

Those qualities have helped him maintain an elite level well into the latter stages of his career.
For Sweeney, that mindset is what makes the Portuguese star stand out.
