Kota Kinabalu: Tabs Sabah FC are set to retain their Under-16 title in the second season of the Suparimau league this weekend.

The team are currently in joint top position in the table standing with KKFC A. Both teams have 16 points but Tabs Sabah FC have a game in hand.

Coach Rosly Jamal is confident the team with their current form will be able to clinch the title for the second season running with two matches remaining.

They are to play Likas United at the Likas Synthetic Pitch on Saturday at 10.30am before taking on KKFC B at the same venue on Sunday at 9.30am.

“The one game advantage over them has provided us a good opportunity to defend our title this weekend.

Meanwhile, the Tabs Mix 9 and Tabs Mix 8 teams had earlier been crowned Under-10 and Under-8 champions in the Suparimau league.
