Senior Congress leader from Nawanshahr Vipan Taneja has been appointed party observer for the MC polls at Garhshanker in Hoshiarpur.
Expressing gratitude towards the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee for the assignment, Taneja said he would put his best efforts to field candidates loyal to the Congress, who could win election and serve the common man as well as work to strengthen the party at the grassroots level in a run-up to the Assembly poll next year.
