Malaysia’s top mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei advance to the last eight with a straight-sets win over Thailand at the Indonesia Masters.

NATIONAL mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei have sailed into the quarter-finals of the 2026 Indonesia Masters.

The world champions secured their spot with a 21-12, 21-18 victory over Thailand’s Pakkapon Teeraratsakul and Sapsiree Taerattanachai in Jakarta today.

The match at Istora Senayan lasted 35 minutes.

The world number four pair will next face either Indonesia’s Hee Yong Kai Terry and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja or Denmark’s Jesper Toft and Amalie Magelund.

In the men’s doubles, Malaysia’s Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub and Tan Wee Kiong suffered a second-round defeat.

They lost to Indonesian fifth seeds Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.

The Malaysian pair won the first set 21-19 but fell 16-21, 17-21 in the subsequent games.
