TAWAU: THE State Government is also focusing on strengthening the water supply system in Tawau through the Water Supply Scheme Phase III Project, involving the design and construction of the Tawau Dam.
Joachim said the project is expected to be completed in October next year, which would ensure a more sustainable water supply and flood control system in the future.
He said the Tawau Division Water Department greatly appreciated the patience, cooperation and understanding of all affected consumers throughout the recovery period.
He added that any latest developments would be conveyed from time to time through the Department’s official channels.
