Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner turned a wild Knicks comeback into a pop-culture moment that fans did not see coming.
New York edged San Antonio 107-106 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, erasing a 29-point deficit for the biggest comeback in Finals history.
After OG Anunoby’s late tip-in pushed the Knicks into a 3-1 series lead, Swift and Jenner were seen sharing a friendly embrace courtside at Madison Square Garden.
Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner’s embrace has fans buzzing
Swift attended with Este Haim, Alana Haim, and Mariska Hargitay, wearing a Knicks-themed “Stevie Knicks” shirt as the Garden erupted around her.
Jenner was there with Timothée Chalamet, a lifelong Knicks fan, and the pair drew attention in matching denim looks before the embrace with Swift became the viral postgame moment.
“Oh, to be casually next to Taylor and Kylie, and to just casually talk to Tay and ask for a pic. God, I’ve seen what you’ve done for others,” said one fan.
“This healed me,” said another. “This gagged me so bad,” said a third.
Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner’s moment carries history
The reaction was bigger because Swift’s public history with the Kardashian-Jenner family has never been simple.
The tension was mostly tied to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after the 2016 “Famous” controversy and the leaked phone-call fallout, rather than any direct feud with Kylie.
Still, fans treated the friendly exchange like a small pop-culture reset. “One a Swiftie, forever a Swiftie,” said one supporter, while another added, “Never thought I would see the day.”
Taylor Swift’s Knicks fandom has been alive for years

Swift’s presence at MSG was not random. She has been connected to the Knicks for years, including a 2014 Garden appearance when she posed with Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire in a Knicks jersey.
She was also courtside for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland with fiancé Travis Kelce, who is a lifelong Cavaliers fan from Ohio.
That night looked like a Kelce-driven Cavs appearance, but Swift’s Game 4 return made her New York ties harder to dismiss.
The Knicks are now one win from their first title since 1973. In a room packed with celebrities, Swift and Jenner still managed to become part of the story.
