Fahmi praises educators for their sacrifices, calling teachers the guiding light in every student’s journey of learning.
KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil expressed his gratitude to all educators for their services and sacrifices in conjunction with the celebration of Teachers’ Day today.
Through a post on social media, he described teachers as the light to the path of knowledge for every person.
“Every effort and sacrifice of a teacher is very meaningful to us.
“The services of a teacher cannot be repaid, only prayers that teachers are always given happiness and blessings,” he said.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated on May 16 every year to appreciate the services and contributions of teachers in the development of national education, with this year’s theme “Guru Bitara Nadi Negara”.
