Dina Asher-Smith tearfully walked out of a post-race interview on Sunday, 4 August, following her performance in the women’s 100 metres the previous night at Paris 2024.

The two-time Olympic bronze medallist did not make the final on Saturday, but eased into the 200m semi-finals with the third fastest qualifying time on Sunday.

Asher-Smith appeared on the verge of tears as she spoke to the BBC following her race and was polite as she admitted she was "very upset" before walking away.
