PAPAR: A 13-year-old boy died after being struck by lightning while his friend is in critical condition.
The duo were playing football in the rain at a field near the town here, in the 3.55pm incident today.
A spokesperson for the Sabah Fire Operations Centre confirmed the incident adding the survivor had been rushed to Papar Hospital for further treatment.
