The Century School, Gharaunda, celebrated Mother’s Day, paying tribute to the irreplaceable role mothers play in shaping young lives. The event was a poignant expression of gratitude and reverence, graced by the presence of Megha Bansal and Shweta Jindal. The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, accompanied by the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra to invoke divine blessings. Students across grade levels presented specially choreographed performances dedicated to maternal love. Nursery to UKG students charmed the audience with innocent dance performances, while classes I to III showcased their artistic talents through synchronised movements celebrating the essence of motherhood. A spectacular dance performance by classes VI to VIII particularly resonated with the attending mothers, depicting the multifaceted roles mothers embody-nurturer, teacher, friend and inspiration. The emotional performances moved many guests of honour to tears of joy and pride. Dr Karuna Arora delivered insightful words, emphasising that motherhood transcends biological bonds, encompassing all women who nurture, guide and sacrifice selflessly. Chairperson Sahshi Bansal and Managing Director Ankur Jindal congratulated all mothers, noting that the event successfully reinforced familial bonds while instilling gratitude and respect for maternal sacrifice in young hearts.
