The Devil Wears Prada 2 will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ from 29 July, bringing back the original cast for a new chapter set in the high-pressure world of fashion publishing.
The sequel reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, with David Frankel returning as director and Aline Brosh McKenna once again writing the screenplay.
The story follows Andy Sachs as she returns to Runway magazine, this time as its new features editor. Her arrival coincides with a challenging period for editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, whose once-dominant print publication is facing mounting pressures in a changing media landscape.

Alongside the returning characters, the film introduces new faces while revisiting the rivalries and relationships that made the original 2006 film a global success.
The theatrical release, which debuted in May, has grossed more than US$676 million worldwide, pushing the The Devil Wears Prada franchise beyond the US$1 billion mark at the global box office.

Fashion continues to play a central role in the sequel, with designs from luxury houses including Dior, Versace, Armani, Givenchy, Cartier, Dolce & Gabbana, Tiffany & Co. and Fendi featured throughout the film. The production also includes appearances from figures across the fashion and music industries.
Released in 2006, the original The Devil Wears Prada became one of the defining fashion films of its era, earning acclaim for its performances and its portrayal of the magazine industry.
