SHAH ALAM - The Good Vibes Festival 2023 has been cut short after the government ordered for the cancellation of day two and three of the music festival.
This was following the incident involving British band The 1975 during the concert that took place at the Sepang International Circuit, last night.
Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the government would not compromise with any party that belittled and went against the country's law.
"The unity government’s stand was clear on the matter," he said in a tweet.
He added that he understood that there would be implications towards festival-goers who had already purchased their tickets.
“We will work out with the organisers the best way posssible to reimburse those who had purchased the tickets,” Fahmi said in a tweet today.
Fahmi also tweeted that he had a meeting with the organisers of the festival, Future Sound Asia, on the incident.
